Dear Patrons

As a fine dining neighbourhood restaurant, my team and I strive to run Indian Zing as an establishment which offers authentically prepared quality Indian cooking with just a modicum of a twist. We also offer a service which is at once friendly and highly efficient.

With my training forged as a chef in some of the finest Indian hotels, ranging from the Taj and Oberoi groups to ITC Sheraton, along with being chef in some of London’s most prestigious Indian restaurants such as Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy, good food and customer care is paramount in my mind.

Our ethos is to offer refined and flavoursome Indian cooking with imagination. Our cuisine is matched by fine wines, refreshing home-made drinks and a consistency which ensures that we are never complacent. So whether it’s our specials, one of our various food fiestas or any other event, we want the best for our clientele.

This includes our rich Indian heritage which is at the heart of our restaurant. India is not only home of one of the world’s greatest cuisines, it is also changing and modernising. As a chef with Maharashtran origins, I have been very fortunate to not only utilise India’s aromatic herbs, spices and other ingredients in my restaurant kitchen today, I have mastered their flavours both in the traditional and contemporary sense.

Indian Zing has even been designed to follow the Indian principles of Vastu Shastra, creating an environmental harmony between the five elements of earth, sky, fire, water and air.

We want to thank all our clientele and the media for their ongoing support. We have received some wonderful critical plaudits from Fay Maschler of The London Evening Standard, The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, Tatler, Square Meal, Harden’s and Zagat, to name but a few. These unanimous positive reviews are a great support. It’s been a pleasure and an honour to have been nominated in such illustrious awards as the Tatler Restaurant Awards, The Cobra Good Curry Guide as the Best Boutique Restaurant, and The Observer Food Awards.
